MODERATOR'S TRIBUTE

PRAISE FOR BOTTLE LAKE HOSPITAL.

Appreciation of the attention that is given to patients at Bottle Lake Hospital was expressed by the Moderator (the Rev. T. W. Armour) at yesterday's meeting of the Christchurch Presbytery. Mr Armour said that he wished to correct the impression that ministers could not visit patients in the isolation hospital. They were not prevented at all. He thought that it was a good thing that ministers should go there, for the fact that the patients were isolated, made: their friends apprehensive, and also made them think more harshly of the hospital than they ought to. He had been more than gratified with his visit and with the attention that was given to patients. "If people could go there as I did," he added, "and see the way the little infants are cared for they would be gratified. They were all well-cared for, clean, and tidy, and obviously getting all the attention a mother would give."
