PARTY AT CASHMERE HILLS.

Mrs Derisley Wood yesterday showed , her practical interest in the good work of the British Bailors' Society by lending her beautiful home, "Maungaroa," Macmillan avenue, for a "com party" which was very well attended . and proved most/enjoyable. A short musical programme added to the enjoyment of the guests, the performers being Mrs A. F. Wright and Mrs H. J. Quarrell, who contributed vocal solos, and Miss Bessie Pollard, who played pianoforte solos. , After tea was dispensed many of the visitors spent a pleasant hour in the garden.
