Locker-Lampson, Under-Secretary for Foreign Affairs, replying to Commander J. M. Kenworthy (Labour), said that as the United States proposed the replacement of the Bryce-Root arbitration treaty with a new treaty, the question of renewal of the former did not arise. There had been no delay ijj arranging the new treaty beyond the essential consultation with the Dominions.—Australian Press Association, United Service.
