(CSITZD PEESB ASSOCIATION —BY ELECTRIC TELEGRAPH—COPYRIGHT.) SYDNEY, November 13. Fire among the films in the operating box at a picture theatre atßrigh-ton-le-Sands, following a small explosion and a burst of flames, alarmed the audience, and a panic prevailed for a time, women screaming and rushing the exits which became jammed. Several women fainted, but order was quickly restored, and the fire was subdued. Several thousand feet of film were destroyed.—Australian Press Association.
