THE WILKINB EXPEDITION.

Sir Hubert Wilkins wirelessed as follows from Inception Island on November 10th via Port Stanley"Our American monoplane Los Angeles, in which Lieutenant Carl Eielson and myself flew over the North Pole, was today the first complete aeroplane to touch Antarctic soil, on Dooeption Island. '•The Hektoria, upholding her name, entered the harbour ou November 6th, anchored, and was then moored to the beach with six 7in hawsers, preparing to withstand the customary November storms, but so far fine weather prevails, eiiabling everyone, from the captain to the mess boy, and the members of the expedition to busy himself during every waking hour."—Australian Press Association, United Service.
