The annual inspection of the Christchurch Railway Ambulance Division of the .St. John Ambulance/ Brigade, held in the Railway Brigade rooms, was conducted by Major A. L. Gray,. Assist-ant-Commissioner, assisted by Colonel F. W. W. Dawson, Corps Surgeon, Miss F. L. Cooper, District Officer, Mr F. Rudd, Corps Superintendent, and Mr A. T. Hoddinott, Corps Storekeeper. The Divisional Surgeon, Dr. F. J. Borric, had arranged a supposititious accident, to which members attended. The inspecting officers then criticised the work clone, and expressed satisfaction at the standard of efficiency attained by the Division during the year. The Assist-ant-Commissioner then elucidated several matters in connexion with Brigade work and Brigade organisation.
