Tit-bits from their repertoire of variety hits comprise the programme which Mike Connors and his delightful "League of Notions" Revue Company are.presenting;, in, their final three appearances at Fillers'?' sNflw Opera House, this. week. -This >happy-sband of mirth-producers, with the' Beck, one of Australia's funniest comedians, as one of the stars, has attracted crowded houses. Variety,- vaudeville, swift-moving comedy dramas, exquisite dancing numbers, and Linn Smith's Jazz Band, provido an excellent evenings entertainment. A plethora of amusing incidents crammed last evening's programme, which opened with a League number, "A Good Ship Sailing for Home." "Globes of Truth" saw Syd. Beck and Ernie Paulasto as hardened sinners. "The Eavesdropper," "Good Night, and "Some Commercial Travellers Stories, were included in the comedy hits, while selections by Linn Smith's Band and several charming dance numbers comprised a bright and breezy part one. "School Days set the fun ball rolling in part two, which concluded with a. hilarious show. The Rehearsal," a request number. Linn »s Jazz Band presented, among many delightful jazz numbers, "A Gramophone a request number. The "League of Notions Revue Company was accorded generous applause. Prom the rise of the curtain, they leave no stone unturned in the production of merriment and laughter, while the syncopated hits bv Linn Smith's Band are among the gems of the programme., Mike Connorß and Queenie Paul were insistently encored in their clever duets, a take-off by Svd. Beck and Ernie Paulasto creating great amusement. The Exquisite Six presented several strenuous dance turns, every movement of which was graceful. n„„„„„„ The "League of Notions" Kevue Company concludes on Wednesday evening.
