ONE MONTH'S IMPRISONMENT. (FBEBS ASSOCIATION TELEOBAH.) PALMERSTON. N., November 12. "It's no use whatever giving this youth a chance. He is'somewhat of the larrikin type. He lies profusely and is apt to get into mischief all the time. Evidently he is out to have as gay a time as he can." This description was applied by Senior-Sergeant Whitehouse to Alfred John Buhek, aged nineteen, ■ when charged with converting a car and driving to Foxton. - He was seen by the owner's brother and a smart arrest was effected. Accused, who was recently released from the Borstal Institution, received a month's imprisonment with hard labour. He left the dock,smiling.
