IN A CROWDED FIELD. New journals continue to make theif appearance. The latest arrival in Sydney is th« "Car Driver's Weekly"—24 pages, printed on newsprint, nnd stitched into a two-coloured cover. Tlio motor world, already, lias too many journals "devoted", to its interests. To introduce a new medium to the badgered distributor of cars or accessories is utmost to invite says the Sydney "Newspaper News. But the "Car Driver's Weekly comes with a new device. If you beconio :uf annual subscriber, you aro automatically insured against prosecutions and fines—the newspaper defends nnd pays. As there now seems to be a "nn parking" notice and. a prowling traffic cop in every street, and the sum-mons-server • calls more often, than th# bottle-o, this new journal should mak* a strong appeal. It will be interesting to see how; tw newcomer fares. Motorists are. notoriously suspicious, cynical, and "hardboiled." _
