LINCOLN COLLEGE SPORTS.
The annual sport* meeting'of Canterbury Agricultural College was held at the Colleso grounds, Lincoln, on in gloriou3 6unsnine, and before- a large attendanco of spectators. The fields were small, but several excellent finishes were witnessed, particularly in the 440yda Hurdles, in which A. Newman and VY. D. Orbell dead-heated They were the only competitors. But for striking the last huidlo hard, Newman should have- won. Newman earned off the senior championship by a large margin, but E. W. Kerr, milo record holder, was unable to compote on account of illness. One record was established, the third-year students clipping 2-ssec off the existing Inter-year Relay Race record of lmin 41 2-ssec.
