In the ordinary course the "Weekly Press" would have jbeen published this morning, but this week something extraordinary occnrred to delay publication. This event wasy of course, the Tasman Plight, an event of such extraordinary importance as to demand from ;the popular illustrated magazine the most complete and comprehensive pictorial description. In order that this way be given, publication has beeil postponed till to-morrow. ' •. ° The photographers and the process worltrs were kept going at high pressure >esterday, and the machines are now printing a special • supplement depicting incidents of the arrival of the Southern- Cross at the Wigraffi Aerodrome. There are fine pictures of tne g*eat 'plane circling over the gronn , the first contact with New Zealand sou, the crowd rushing to greet the aviators, and-all the other features tnat made such an impression. Leader Eingsford Smith, Flight-liieu-,tenant TJlm, and their associates are depicted in a number of - striking. P9* Vi traits, and altogether the .special supplement will xnakb a splendid souvenir.
