This event wasy of course, the Tasman Plight, an event of such extraordinary importance as to demand from ;the popular illustrated magazine the most complete and comprehensive pictorial description. In order that this way be given, publication has beeil postponed till to-morrow. ' •. ° The photographers and the process worltrs were kept going at high pressure >esterday, and the machines are now printing a special • supplement depicting incidents of the arrival of the Southern- Cross at the Wigraffi Aerodrome. There are fine pictures of tne g*eat 'plane circling over the gronn , the first contact with New Zealand sou, the crowd rushing to greet the aviators, and-all the other features tnat made such an impression. Leader Eingsford Smith, Flight-liieu-,tenant TJlm, and their associates are depicted in a number of - striking. P9* Vi traits, and altogether the .special supplement will xnakb a splendid souvenir.
