Sir,—With your kind permission, 1 would like to endorse ; "Watchdog's" suggestion that clergymen of all. denominations should -unite-in investigating the claims of Spiritualism. Paul advises us to "prove all things, and hold fast that which. is good," and. in his- Epistle to. the Corinthians, he dealt/with the diversities, of Spiritual gifts, ;and their use for the general benefit of/humanity'.- In Mark-16; are rthese words ofi Jesus:"And these sighs shall them. that : .believe. ' In mv, v .name'',shajl they cast,out devils, they shallvspeak with new .tongues,'aJid they shall lay-hands on the; sick, and : they shall recover." There js evidence! that this Divine promise ish beihs -fulfilled through the-instrumentalitv'ot many earnest peoDle. who. remembering,- the parable of the talents, are ieicodiisine. developing; and prayerfully using their spiritual powers, for the relief of human suffering and sorrow.— Yonrs, etc..
