McCullam, late Child Welfare Officer at Greyinouth, was presented by the members of the Greymouth Police Department with a leather attache case. Mr and Mrs Harold Webb, of Melbourne and formerly of Greymouth and Lyttelton, who aw motoring on the West Coast, will leave to-morrow for Westport and Nelson. Mr J. H, North left to-day for ChrJßtchurch. On account of the death of his mother. Mr D. Tennent returned from Christchurch this afternoon. Mr A. A- Adams, president of the West Coast Rugby Union, returned today from the North Island. Mrs A.-A. Adams, sen., who has been spending an extended holiday m Wellington, returned to Greymouth this evening. Mr Clarence McKay, who is to be married on Thursday, was entertained this evening by the members of the Greymouth Fire Brigade and presented with a set of silver cutlery. Mr W. Jeffries (Hokitika) left to* day for Christchurch. Motor-Cyclist Injured. As the result of a motor-cycling accident a young man, Arthur, Wa«w. of Walljs Siding, received bruisea and abrasions necessitating his removal to the Grey Hospital, condition is not serious.
