RESIDENTS' REQUESTS. WESTPOET, August 14. At a largely attended indignation meeting held in the Town Hall to-night, the Mayor (Mr J. H. "That in view of the unsatisfactory reply received from the Government to our former resolutions, this meeting authorises a deputation to proceed to Wellington for the purpose of placing our views before the Government. - "That, on receipt of advice from Air Holland, of the date the deputation is due at Wellington, the following be asked to attend-The Hon.
