THE KAIAPOI SEAT.

TO THB EDITOB OP THB MUSS 3. Sir,—l wish to strongly object to the method adopted in the selection of a candidate for the Kaiapoi seat by the United Party. I understand that not one elector of the district was present, and the selection was decided by the Christchurch executive. Are the supporters of the cause so ignorant that they could have a voice in the matter r However, I with dozens of others are convinced they are backing the wrong horse and will ignominiously fail, i have been a life-long supporter of the Liberal Party, but as a .protest against the above I this election will vote Reform. I wish to compliment the Reform Party in consulting delegates from all parts of the district. Mo hole-and-corner tactics with them. — ' HAREVVOOB ELECTOR.
