ROYAL HUS&NE SOCIETY'S AWARDS.

Awards of bronze medals and certificates were decided upon by the Ctftirt of Directors of' the Royal Humane Society of New Zealand at a meeting yesterday. Present were; The Rev Canon W. S. Bean, president (in the chair), Messrs W. A, Cheesman, .T. H. Davey. F. I. Cowlishaw, and W. H. Nicholson. , ; Harold Ralfe, who rescued W. J. Busch from drowning ait Lake - Ferry on March 18th, 1928, was awarded a bronze medal. . Miss Daisy Miller and Daniel Oldham, who rescued Margaret Hewtott from drowning at Jack's Bay, Clutha, were each awarded bronze medals; <Tohn Silvester Fulton, who rescued Mary Anne Green from drowning at St. Clair Beach, Danedin, was awarded a certificate.
