Leaver; expressed doubt as to whether his. recent; resignation . from the Council had been - necessary, also-the Opinion that the Auditor-G-eneral had neglected his duty, , , At. the previous' meeting of • th© Council. Cr. A. E. Lawi-y said that he had seen a ; letter ;in which it was stated; that the Mayor (Mr A. W.' Owles) had been advised of Cr.
