In tho banking section, national Bank of Australasia £fr paid shares : moyed up 6d to business at £9 6s £d, buyers' staying m at that price, sellers asking £9 7s—tho £lO paid" shares are' stronger wita buyers at fie lds 6a, Beilera at i-18 ,16s cd. A ipfircsi ot national Bank oi new Zealand snares was released at £7 43, and more were wanted at that price, -sellers at £7 4s 6d. Bank of i\ew Zealand Mortgage shares were fractionally firmer with ■ L'uyers at 273 3d, no sellers. Union Bank shares were firmer with buyers at £l6 Oa 6d r eeliors. at £ls Is. Other bank stocks showed' little movement. • in the miscellaneous investment,, section, Goidsbrough, Morts were released on the morning call at 50s 6d, and - on the afternoon call at 50s Bd, market closing 60s 7d buyers, 60s 9d sellers. • United- Building' Society shares wera weaker with turnover at 14s Sd, closing quotes " 14s 7d buyers, 15s sellers.
