CANTERBURY ASSOCIATION,

The Management Committee o£ the Canterbury Cricket Association met last night. .Present were: Messrs B. Ward (in the chair), C. S. Thompson, A. Dey, L. D. Page, R. C. Burns, W. L. King, W. H. Winsor, , M. 0. Sinclair, J. E. It. .Spiith, C. T. Rix. ; W. J. B. Hamilton, and E. E. Luttrell (lion. ' secretary). i Tho chairman said that no report had been ! received from the committee set up to consitlei the matter of district cricket. It was resolved to hold the annual meet ing of the sub-unions on Wednesday, Augi< 15th, It was decided to hold the annual mec ing of the Canterbury Cricket Association oSeptember Bth, and a committee ronsistin of the secretary, treasurer, and Mr Ward was constituted to draw np tho balance-sheet.
