METHVEN CLUB. The Methven Ladies' GoU Club played an 18-hole junior stroke handicap on Saturday for a prize given by Mrs A. White. The winner was Miss Winsome Elliott. Playing in the competition for the Mt. Hutt Cup, Mrs 0. T. Jessep beat Miss A. Jessep on the 19th hole. A Methven team journeyed to Hororota over the week-eaid, and were defeated by 12 games to 6.
