MUNICIPAL THEATRE.

A photo-play based on the great historical romance of "Antony and Cleopatra" will be screened at the Municipal Theatre, commencing on Saturday, August 4th. Wonderful views of ancient Egypt and eternal Rome are combined with the delightfully fascinating love-story. Beautiful scenes and settings are among the special features of this magnificent picture. We see how cruel Cleopatra could be to her slaves besides the fascination she holds for Antony. Some conception of the customs of royalty, in days of long ago are faithfully portrayed. Komance, thrills, intriguo, glitter and pomp are all unfolded. before the audience in a manner which is seldom, if ever, seen. Roman ships, armies, court attendants, battle scenes, the march of the victors, all help in making this mighty production with over two thousand performers. An unusual attraction is the appearance of the youngest versatile artist at present touring the world. "Baby Olar," a clever kiddie, who has been billed as the world's wonder child, has captivated her audience wherever she has appeared in her sensational acts. Included in her number is the all white troupe of performing dogs, who give a remarkable exhibition of canine intelligence. A splendid comedy, entitled "Love Taps," completes this big programme.
