McDOXOGH— GOGGIN. ; A wedding of considerable interest to a wide circle of friends throughout i New Zealand. was celebrated by ; Father A. Cullen, S.M., at St. Mary's Church, .Manchester street, on \Vednesday morning, when Mary Cecilia [ (Dolly) Goggin. eldest daughter of Mr James Goggin, Shirley, was married to i Hector John McDonogh, eldest son of Mrs McDonogh, Mt. Albert, Auck- ■ land. Miss Mina Ward presided at i the organ. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a model gown of wine • red panne velvet made with draped skirt caught at the side with diamente I ornament, long georgette sleeves, and fnr trimmed. She wore a smart velour hat to tone and carried a shower bouquet of pale pink and white chrysanthemums and maidenhair fern with white streamers. Miss Elizabeth Kelly, who attended as bridesmaid, wore a becoming frock of Betty blue crepe de chine with hat to tone. Her bouquet was of P n '» chrysanthemums and maidenhair fern, with blue streamers. Mr Norman Archer, cousin of tho bride, carried out tkß duties of best man. When the bride left for her wedding tour, she travelled in a Wedgwood blue tailored costume and becoming felt hat to match. PUCKRIDGE—IVERACH. A wedding, pretty in its simplicity, was solemnised at Epworth, in the home of Mr John Iverach, recently, when Samuel Arthur, son of Mr and Mrs Puckridge, Te Aroha, and Jessie, fourth daughter of Mr and Mrs John Iverach, Epworth, Temuka, were married by the Rev. H. R. Fell, M.A..8.D. The bride, -who was given, away by her father, wore a frock of saxe blue crepe de chine and a black plush velour hat and carried a bouquet of daisies and heather. The .bride's sister, Nancy, a'ttended as bridesmaid, wearing a frock of pale pink laoe and georgette, and carrying a bouquet .of violets. The bride's brother. Dr. Douglas Iverach, attended the bridegroom as best man. , After the ceremony the happy couple left for their honeymoon in the north, the bride's travelling dress being of navy blue with hat to match. Their i home -will be at Matamata, North Island. ' BREEZE-FULLER. ' A pretty wedding of considerable local interest was* solemnised in St. Columba's Presbyterian Church, Hororata,, recently, when Evelyn Maude, only daughter of Mr and Mrs L. Fuller, ot Hororata, ' was' married to Harry Matthew,' second son of Mr H. Breeze, New Brighton. The ceremony was conducted bv the Rev. I>. K. Boyd, of Sheffield, and Miss Nelson presided at the organ. The bride, vho was escorted by her father, wore an attractive frock of ivory satin relieved with shell-pink and :silver lace ; with long sleeves finished - with bows at' the wrists. Her embroidered veil fell from a coronet of pearls . and orange, blossom, and she carried, a shower bouquet of hothouse v' flowers and maidenhair fern, with long ' shell-pink and white ribbon- streamers. The bridesmaids were Miss Griffiths, St. Albans, • Miss Mary Fuller (Horo;rata), the bride's cousins. Their dainty frocks were of blue crepe de chine trimmed, with silver laoe. They wore bandeaux of silver leaves and they carried shower. bouquets of white and bronze chrysanthemums and maidenhair •fern finished with long ribbon stream- . ers. The bridegroom was attended by Mr J. Creighton, with Mr E. Patterson as groomsman. As the bride left the church she was presented with' an ornamental black cat. ' After the ceremony the reception was held in the HorOrata Hall, which had been suitably decorated for the occasion. _ Mrs Fuller, mother of the bride, received her guests wearing a navy repp frock with touches of red, a smart black hat with gold trimmings, and a -black coat with fur collar. She carried a bronze bouquet with asparagus fern. The usual toasts were honoured, and later ,in the. day, when leaving for the honeymoon, the bride wore a saxe blue repp frock with becoming saxe blue hat to tone.
