RUGBY, June 20. | ' General Sir Philip Walhouse Ohetwode has been appointed Chief of the General Staff in India, in succession to Lioutennnt-General Sir Andrews Skene. [General Sir Philip Chetwode was Commander-in-Chief, Aldershot Command, from 1923 to 1927. He served through the Burma Hills campaign, in the Boer War, and in the European War from 1914 to 1918.]
