Undoubtedly the chief attraction on this week's programme at Crystal Palace is the extraordinarily well-produced picture of the final stages of Captain Kingsford Smith's Pacific flight. •In "The Lodger," based on the novel with the same title by Mrs Belloc Lowndes, mystery is more than suggested, and the mind is kept in a state of suspense and uncertainty as to the identity of "The Avenger/' The relief, in the form of love interest, is well managed. Tho second' picture, "The Phantom Flyer," features Captain Al. Wilson, the noted American war "ace."
