Black, in the House of Representatives, attacked the failure of Mr Coolidge to force action in the Senate on the Naval Bill. He said: "Under the spur of the pacifists the Naval Affairs Committee forgot the President's big naval lan , forgot the country, and ran away. He urged that immediate appropriations be made to build the three flee submarines which had been previous y authorised. , ~ . He added: "If they do not do that, the Republican Party and this administration are exactly 100 per cent, ro ten on the naval question. —Australian Press Association.
