NEW OPERA HOUSE.

Mr F. Gayle Wyer and his Band Box Revue Company are the attraction at tho New Opera liouse. The first half of the programme comprises a well-diversified selection of vaudeville items, all the company being seen, or heard, in song, dance, or comedy sketches. The second half of tho programme is given over to a sparkling one-act revue, "The Lady Buccaneers," in which all the company play their respective parts in capital style, keeping the audience in a state ,of good humour all the time. The revue, like most productions of this nature, has a flimsy story, but it serves the purpose of enabling many bright musical numbers, clever acting, and sparkling billets to be introduced by the various characters. Sam Ward, Charles Norman, and. Ward Lear, jun., share the com-* edy roles, Vera Benson, Elsa Scott, Heather Jones, and Ena Gordon make a. charming quartet of pirate leaders* Gus Dawson and F. Gayle Wyer are the wrecked airmen.
