. <►_, —- ■ A of the Executive of the League of Nations Union was held on Friday last. Mr W. T. G, Airey presided. Correspondence was read from the National Council of Womon regarding a public meeting to urge the building of a crematorium. Several members individually expressed their approval of the scheme, and their intention to attend the meeting. The Dominion Secretary wrote that the Dominion I Conference would be held in Wellington on May 29th. It was decided to forward two additional remits for consideiration. The president, the secretary, Dr. Hight, and Mrs Fraer were nominated aa delegates to the Conference. It was decided to set up a sub-committee to go into the question of a policy of activities in connexion with the General Election.
