MADAME MENERE'S FUR DISPLAY. -■ * ■
ANIMATED SCENES. All day yesterday, animated scenes were witnessed at 127 Oashel street where Madame Menere is making her wonderful display of furs. Great had been the expectations of visitors, but the display they.saw quite exceeded their most optimistic anticipations The place was simply.filled .with thousands of pounds worth of beautiful fur coats wraps, etc. It can be honestly said that such an array of rare and beau- • Lw\ a \ n -?7 er before b «n seen in Chnstchurch.Many satisfactory sales were made, satisfactory not only to Madame Menere, but to the purchaser in each case, for these quality furs are sold at practically, the same, price as common rabbit is elsewhere, due of course, to Madame Menere buying direct in the fur centres of the world. The location of the display is 127 Cashel street (upstairs), corner Colombo street, opposite Beath's. Here Madame Menere will be to-day, and the next feurdays.
