MAHIA FROM LONDON. The Shaw, Savill, and Albion Company's steamer Mahia,' which arrived at Port Chalmers on Wednesday morning from London, experienced rough weather after leaving London on February 24th. On March 13th the vessel reached Panama, and a fireman's Bteward, J. Adams, who had received a fractured leg during a squall, wan landed there. At Suva, where the vessel arrived on April 2nd, the Mahia remained three days while discharging electrical plant and machinery for the sugar mills. From Panama to arrival at Otago Heads the weather was good. The Mahia is due at Lyttelton early this morning from Dunedin. and later goes to Nelson and New Plymouth to continue discharge. Captain A. Mcintosh, late of the Kia Ora, is in command of the Mahia, and his officers : 'ar.e'f Messrs E. Greystone (chief), R. E. James (second), P. Campbell-third), J. Jackson (fourth), J.- Nicholl (chief engineer), W. Duffey (second), R. W. McFarUne (third). A. M. Soulds (fourth), W. G. Frodsham (fifth), J. Harbottle (sixth), J. Watts (seventh).- A. G. The following navigation warning was broadcasted by the Sydney Kikdio Station at 10.5 p.m. Zealand time:; —The steamer Aeon reports passing a. floating log twelve feet by two feet in diameter, whiuh. is dangerous to navigation, at 2.30 p.m. on April 14th, 26 miles off Montague Island.

The secretary of the Post and Telegraph Department received the following message jon Friday evening:—"S.S. Tamahine broadcast following message at 4.50 p.m. (yesterday) : 'Large tree, dangerous to small craft, position-41.19 south, 174.33 east."-
