ENGLISH PARK STADIUM.
NEXT SATURDAY'S SPORTS. A sports programme will be held at English Park Stadium next Saturday night. The following events will be held: —Half-mile open cycle handicap, one mile open cycle handicap, quarter-mile scratch race, one lap joy-cyclo race for boys under ten years, 120 yards flat handicap, and 880 yards flat handicap. The entries close with Walden and Nunn' or at the Stadium to-morrow. An event which is creating a tremendous amount of interest in trotting circles is a human trotting match race between the sons of two well-known trotting men. The contestants will be R. D. Riley and E. V. Kennerley. The race will be over three distances, two of one lap and a deciding distance of 220 yards. Sulkies will be drawn by the contestants.
