COMMITTEE MEETING. A meeting of the committee of the Amuri A. and P. A&sociation was held in the Library Hall, "Waiau, on Thursday evening. The president, Mr G. W. Aldridge, occupied the chair, and there were also present Messrs G. White, G. Reid, J. P. Banks, T. H. Belton, L. J. Iverach, G. Ferguson, C. . rr W. Savage, G. S. Beaven, and H. T. knight. The secretary reported that several of the judges' positions were uot filled, and that no reply had as yet been received from the Kailway Department to the request lor improved railway facilities on bhow- Da >- Several nominations were received yaeant position for judges. It was decided that this >' c " cud would be given to the ot the Patriotic Memorial Cup, the, mer s name to be ensraved thereon, and it was turtner decided to ask the returned soldiers to give it or agreed to the Association doing so.
