LATE MR H. HODDINOTT.
♦ THE FUNERAL. The funeral of Mr H. Hoddinott left the residence of his daughter, Mrs C. Williams, Harakeko street, for tho Addington cemetery on Saturday afternoon. The Rev. J. K. Archer conducted the services. The pall-bearers were:—Messrs A. G. Watkins, E. Johnston (Opawa Bowling Club), \V. Lock, E. W. Patterson (Foresters Lodge), A. E. Gray, and J. Becconsall (St. John Ambulance Brigade). Wreaths were recei.ved from the Christchurch Nursing Division, Assist-, ant Commissioner and Staff officers, Selwyn Nursing Division, the Beckenhani Nursing Division, and the Christchurch Division of the St. John Ambulance Brigade, Canterbury and West Coast Centre of the St. John Ambulance Brigade; Ambulance Department, Addington Workshops: Engine Drivers', Firemen and Cleaners' Association (Canterbury branch); the Association of Superannuated Public Servants (Christchurch); Opawa Bowling Club, Indoor Bowling Kink Co., Foresters' Lodge. brothers and sisters, Mr and Mrs Mulholland and Jack Hoddinott, Mian d Mrs E. Ayrey, Mr and Mrs J. Cumberpatch and Clarence, Borrows family, Mr and Mrs A. T. Williams, Mr J. Smellie, Mrs Standem, Mr and Mrs W. Gilling, Miss Gainsford, the Colombo street Baptist Church choir, and Young Women's Bible Class. A large number of friends and relatives attended the funeral, including representatives from the Opawa Bowling Club, the Foresters' Lodge, and the Association of Superannuated Public Servants. \
