MR JUSTICE BLAIR SWORN IN.

(PRESS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM.)

WELLINGTON, January 28.

Mr A. W. Blair, who was recently appointed to the Supreme Court Bench, was sworn in as a Judge before tho Chief Justice, Sir Charles Skcrrett, in the Supremo Court to-day. Mr Justice Blair, accompanied by his family and Mr R. E. Tripe, his associate, is to leave for the north to-morrow by motor. He takes up his judicial duties at Auckland on February Ist.
