The Rink Taxis employees' picnic was held at Price's Valley. The* party consisted of nine cars fully loaded with passengers. On arrival at the grounds, which were ideal for a picnic, sports and games were indulged in. Mr W. Hay ward presented the prizes won, and in a neat little speech congratulated the employees on the pleasant gathering. Cheers were given for Mr Hlayward and! Mr Foster (chairman of the Picnic Committee). The success of the gathering was due in a large measure to the committee, which consisted of Messrs Lewis, Murphv, Dav, Sullivan, Cook, and Foster.
