SIR FREDRIC WISE. (bt cable—press association—copyright.) {AUSTRALIAN AND N.Z. AND SUN CABLE.) (Received January 27th, 7.55 p.m.) LONDON, January 27. The death has occurred of Sir Fredric Wise, Conservative member of the House of Commons for Ilford. [Sir Fredric Wise was 56 years of age, and was a founder of the stockbroking firm of Wise, Speke and Co., of Newcastle. He travelled all over the world a. great deal in the interests of his business, and in 1919 was sent to Berlin by the Peace Conference to report on the financial position of Germany.]
