PIGEON FLYING.
* CHRISTCHURCH CLUB. Tho Christehurch Homing Pigeon Society flew a yearling race from Oamaru recently. Forty-five birds, divided among eleven owners, competed. The winning bird, L. Hewland's Fleetfoot, flew the distance of 139 miles in 3hrs 46min. Results:—
