A general meeting ot the Christ-church Sailing and Power Boat Club will be held on Saturday afternoon.
A jumble sale will be heid in the Hibernian Hail on Friday evening. The annua! provincial lawn tennis championships will commence to-morrow morning at "Wilding Park; all the leading players of the province have entered, ana as the courts are in excellent condition, the general public will be treated to good exhibitions of the gam*. A street collection to-day will be to relieve distress caused through unemolorme.it. Mi» Evelyn "WhiteU's last two lectures will be pven at the Public Library to-night and on Saturday.
