ATHLETICS.

CANTERBURY CHAMPIONSHIPS

The Canterbury amateur athletic championships, which the local Centre of the K.Z.A.A.A. had decided to hold on the afternoon and evening of February 25th, at English Park Stadium, will now be held on February 18th. This alteration has been made necessary, as the meeting, if held on the dates originally decided, would clash with other sporting events in Chnstchurch. The Centre has decided to apply to Wellington asking that the Australian Olympic cyclist. J. Standen, should visit Chnstchurch on February 15th and 18th to meet Grose, and not on the later dates previously decided.
