.•'.: : ;' LONDON, January 5. Miss Elizabeth Scott, aged 29, has been chosen as the architect for the Shakespeare Memorial ■ Theatre at Stratford-on-Avon, which is to replace the, theatre which was burned in 1926. There were 72 competitors.
Miss Scott's design is described as bold and' splendid, taking full advantage of the beautiful site on the banks of the Avon..
