STRAND THEATRE.
♦ Tho main attraction at the Strand Theatre ihis week, "40 Below Zero," starring Buck Jonee, is a story of love and adventure in the Canadian Kockies. "40 Below Zero" is tho story of John Hathaway, jun., whoso wild but harmless escapades usually end well. Whou slightly under the influence of drink, ho proposes to three different girls during the same evening. When he wakes up in the morning and discovers their attorneys waiting for him ho thinks it best to leave quickly. He escapes in an aeroplane to the Canadian Rockies, whore his machine comes to grief. Here is where he meets Ann Kalston, played by Miss Novak, and here is where the action that will keep the audience breathless, commences. "Don't," starring Sally O'Neil, a comedy, a scenic, a topical, and other films will be shown in support.
