An unusual and well-planned and executed robbery occurred at Chicago today, resulting in a loss by the Ravenswood National Bank of 80,000 dollars. Seven robbers invaded the home of the paying teller late at night on the pretext that they were Prohibition officials. They tied and muffled the teller's parents and mounted a guard over them in a vacant garage. They then drove with the teller to the bank, where they compelled him to open the doors with his keys. After this they waited patiently until eight in the morning, when the time clock in the vault was set for opening. They then compelled the teller to swing open the doors, extracted the currency, and disappeared in an automobile.
