-——♦ —— YESTERDAY'S SUCCESSI'I. L (FATHERING. The Dunsa-ndel Sports Association held :ls annual gathering on the Duusondol Doma-in yesterday, under very favourable weather conditions. A fairly brisk nor'-wester blew most of the day, but the grounds were well sheltered. The racing throughout was keen and interesting, thero bein" good fields in nearly all of the ovente. As usual, much interest was centred in the dancing. Music was provided by a pipe band from Christchurch, and the dancing judge was Miss Violet Robinson. The attendance appeared to be well up to the average of resent years. Among the 'interested spectators were the Hon. Sir Heaton and Lady Rhodes and Miss O'Korke (a visitor from England), and Mr David Jonw, M.P.. and Mrs Jones. '.Clio sports were very well conducted by a strong body of officials, with Mr H. F. Wright as president and Mr B. L. Chattertoti as lion, secretary. Results: — HUNTING EYEXTS.
