"YOURS TO COMMAND."

* A DRAMATIC FEATURE. QUEEN'S THEATRE. The change of programme provided by the management of the Queen'a Theatre this week is one that will appeal to the most fastidious, especially in tho matter of thrills and sensationalism. The main picturo is "Yours -to Command," featuring George O'Hara , Palmer, two well- : known and clever players. Tho story has been well arranged and tho strong climax treated with a fine sense of artistry, which makes it a first-rate film. The plot concerns tho love of Robert Duane, millionaire, for Colleen O'Brien. When this pair meet, Colleen is a school teacher in the Oklahoma oilfields. Sho is penniless, and Duane, in order to hide his wealth, poseb as a chauffeur, and thereby plans to meet with her approval. As luck would have it, i an oil gusher is found, and Colleen and her family go off to New York, living in a mansion in an aristocratic district. Once more they meet, as Duane happens to bo tho owner of the mansion. Ho still poses as a chauffeur and Colleen, now rich, begins to show her lovo lor Duane Meanwhile a crook in the perßon of Ted Hanson sets out to obtain &omo of tho O'Brien wealth and persuades the family to give a dinner. ; The guests are supposed to be wealthy | people, but are really friends of Hanson's. Hanson persuades O'Brien to buy his wife some expensive jewellery, and Duano, as the chauffeur, saves O'Brien twice in quick succession from tho rogues. Colleen has discovered Duano's real identity, but keeps her knowledge secret. In a clever final with plenty of dramatic events, Duane intervenes and the gang is captured by the police, i Colleen and Duane reveal their mutual surprise and all ends well. Tho acting of George O'Hara as Duane is forceful, whilst Shirley Palmer as Colleen O'Brien makes a lot out of the romantic side of the story. Very realistic scenes of fires and firefighting are the order in tho second featuro, "Through the Flames," a Richard Talmadgc production. There have been many "fire", pictures in tjhe past, but this film is easily head and shoulders -above them all. There is a depth of realism in "Through the j Flames," and for sensations and thrills nothing could be better. There is a strong cast, including Evelyn Pierce, Fred Kohler, and Edyth Yorke. Trapped by a raging firo every avenue of escape is cut off, tho hero carrying his mother to the roof of the building. After a while ho obtains a ladder which enabled him to save his mother, but as a thrilling climax the ladder breaks. In a dramatic final scene everything turns out well. Tho supporting films are numerous and well-chosen. ===== 5
