WORLD'S SCULLING TITLE.
PROPOSED BOARD OF CONTROL. (Received January 2nd, 8.45 p.m.) LONDON, January 2. A meeting of the trustees of the Barry Fund decided to attempt to form a Board of Control to manage contests for the world's sculling championship. Mr Steve Fairbairn will be offered a seat if Australian oarsmen agree." Nothing is to be settled regarding a race for the championship until Barry's return.
