WIRTHS' CIRCUS.

A SPLENDID PROGRAMME. The huge marquee of Wirtha' Circus in Moorhouse avenue has been packed every night of tho performances. There is a splendid variety of talent, tho performers having been chosen from the best of the circus world. ..... ~ It is very difficult to individualise in a programme of such all-round merit, but one of the most interesting turns of the evening is tho performance given by Palleiibarg s bears, who walk on stilts, and ride bicycles. Billed as "The Indian Cyclist Marvel, Chester Dieck, in native costume, thrilled the crowd with a wonderful exhibition of trick cycling. To Hilary Long, head balancing is the easiest thing in the world, and his sensational slide down a steel rope, while balancing himself on his head, is by far one of the most striking turns.
