- CHRISTMAS TOURNAMENT. YESTERDAY'S PLAY. The United Club's Christmas croquet tournament was continued yesterday under ideal conditions. Tho eliminating rounds left the best players in, and yesterday's games wore particularly well contested. Tho final of the Izard Memorial Trophy was finished with fino playing the winner, Mrs E. H. Johnson, beating her opponent by three points only. In the B championship, Ragg narrowly beat Mrs Colwill in the final. The tournament, which has been most successful, will be finished to-day, when the remaining finals will be played. Following are.tho results of yesterday's play:— Senior Events. OPEN CHAMPIONSHIP.
