YOUNG WOMAN DROWNED.

NEW PLYMOUTH, December 28. Florence Hcndbman, single, aged twenty-one, was drowned on Tuesday evening wlien bathing near the base of Paritutu. Two young boys who wero also bathing left the water and proceeded to dress. They then missed the girl, but the accident was not reported to the police till this morning. A search is now being made for th« body.
