UNITED CLUB'S TOURNAMENT. Play in the United Club's Christmas croquet tournament was resumed yesterday morning in ideal weather conditions. The play was again of a high standard. In the second round o£ the ladies' championship, some particularly fine play was Been, Mrs Beanland puttine up a good performance in beating Mrs Maddren, "ho has held the championship on several occasions.
