— : —♦ "Almost a Lady" concerns Marcia, Blake, a model employed in the fashionable shop ■ o£ Monsieur . Henri. Marcia displays gowns -' to Mrs Reilly, a social climber, and her husband, and the latter is caught flirting with Marcia by his wife. Marcia is invited'to a reception at the Reilly home and sees William Duke, who is supposed to be the Duke of Lankershein. He is a social lion, and is anxious to'meet Vo'nna Vola, a famous writer. Vonna Vola is unable to be present, and Mrs Reilly, in great despair, asks Marcia to 'impersonate her, and is presented as the authoress. "Fast and Furious," a Universal picturisation of Reginald Denny's original story, is the second big feature.
