CLUB-SWINGING.
ATTEMPT ON WORLD'S RECORD. Although looking tired, Charles Buckett, who is attempting to break the world's club swinging record of 69 hours, says he ia feeling fit, and ia confident of success. Buckett is altemptiug to establish a record of 72 hours' continuous swinging, and at 11 o'clock last night had completed 24 hours of his gruelling test. Using heavier cluhs than usual and maintaining a far greater rate of swings than ;s necessary, Buckett faces a, moat severe test, and if lie is successful will establish a record which is sure to stand for a, long time. At the Choral Hall last night •an excellent programme of music, dancing, and song was provided. During the remaining two clays of the test, which finishes at 11 o'olocli to-morrow night, impromptu concerts will be arranged, and in the evening special programmes will be presented.
